A few weeks back we received our first sample batch of decouple caps for testing and they sound fantastic! They are made by a small company in Wales led by a lovely gentleman called Arthur who has spent his entire career in the manufacturing of these types of capacitors.
If like us you’re a bit geeky about electronics, they are constructed from metallised polyester which gives a slightly warmer, rounded tone than polypropylene equivalents. We find that this characteristic lends itself perfectly to guitar tones.
